parkbytext sponsor the Dublin Horse Show

04/07/2018
parkbytext are proud to be back sponsoring the Irish Draught Classes at the Dublin Horse Show 2018! The Horse Show runs from the 8th to the 12th of August in the RDS.

parkbytext are proud to be sponsoring the Irish Draught horse classes at this year's Dublin Horse Show. The aim of the Irish Draught classes is to showcase the versatility of the Irish Draught Horse and highlight the importance of the leisure horse to the Irish breeding industry. The Irish Draught is Ireland’s indigenous breed of horse (we're like the indigenous breed of virtual parking!) and as such has a very special place at the heart of Ireland’s fame as a horse breeding nation.

About the Show.
First held in 1864, the horse show has become a Dublin institution, a celebration of Ireland's affinity with the horse, from the best show horses to the best international show jumpers. It is one of Ireland's largest events, a highlight of the summer, each year welcoming tens of thousands of people from Ireland and all over the world.

Founded by the Royal Dublin Society in 1868 to foster the equine industry in Ireland, the first Dublin Horse Show took place on the lawns of Leinster House – now home to the Irish Government.

During the five days of the Horse Show over 1,500 horses and ponies compete in 132 competitions and classes with over €940,000 in prize money.
