2. Kilkenny Tradfest 2017

The people of Kilkenny are celebrating the 5th anniversary of Kilkenny Tradfest in the Marble City. There will be a fantastic range of hugely talented artists from across the country for this celebration of Irish traditional and folk music. With a line-up including Paul Brady, Ushers Island, Beoga who recently recorded with Ed Sheeran for his latest album, Eleanor McEvoy, Heidi Talbot, Pauline Scanlon and Fourth Moon, there will be classic trad music with contemporary blends as well.For the full line up of this event click here.
3. St. Patrick’s day parade Limerick

Venue: Limerick City
Limerick, one of Ireland's most culturally vibrant and diverse cities, will host an immense parade, filled to the brim with musicians, dancers, marchers, and even aerial acrobats as they interpret this year's theme: Our Stories, this is where we belong. The aim of this year’s theme is that through story-telling, we celebrate where we belong and that Limerick will bring its own story to life on the streets of Limerick for our national holiday.
The parade, which is being co-ordinated by Grooveyard Productions on behalf of Limerick City and County Council, will feature thousands of participants from various community groups, companies, bands and sports clubs from across Limerick and further afield. Check out their

4. The Teeling Spirit of Dublin Craft Fair
Saturday, March 18
Venue: Teeling's Distillery
St. Patrick’s season is rapidly approaching, and as well as late-opening and free Teeling flatcap for all visitors on the big day itself Teeling's are gearing up for their biggest Spirit of Dublin Craft Fair yet on March 18th! Visitors can expect the usual host of local Dublin and Irish artisan producers sampling and selling their wares, alongside some exciting newcomers. In addition to the popular fair,there is also an exciting new addition to this free event.
A series of 3 exciting panel discussions will run throughout the afternoon in our exclusive Alchemy Room. These 40 minute seminars are free to the public, and are expected to be fully subscribed, but a limited number of tickets are available to book in advance. 5. Paddy's night in Support of Comic relief

This St. Patrick's Day the cream of Irish stand-up comedy is gathering at 3Arena for the very first Irish event in support of Comic Relief. Spearheaded by comedian Deirdre O'Kane and TV producer Darren Smith, Paddy's Night in Support of Comic Reliefwill feature a who's who of the Irish comedy scene including Tommy Tiernan, Dara O’Briain, Ardal O'Hanlon, Jason Byrne, Deirdre O’Kane, Abandoman, Des Bishop, Bernard O'Shea, Ed Byrne, David O’Doherty, Panti Bliss, Alison Spittle, PJ Gallagher and Al Porter.
